Worker Wallet Card
What is the NYC DOB Worker Wallet?

Starting November 1, 2024, the NYC Department of Buildings (DOB) will introduce the Worker Wallet card used by construction workers with specialized qualifications. This card consolidates your key safety training credentials, including certifications for rigging, scaffolding, and mast climbing, into one convenient format.

What’s the purpose of the Worker Wallet?

The Worker Wallet streamlines the verification process, allowing site supervisors to quickly confirm worker qualifications by scanning a QR code on the card via the DOB’s Training Connect app. This helps ensure that all workers on site meet NYC safety standards.

Workers are required to obtain the Worker Wallet by July 1, 2025, but you can get yours today to stay ahead of the compliance deadline.
